Web-based Compliance Training

Polaris has recently introduced web-based training courses into its services. Web-based training offers the anytime, anywhere flexibility of the internet, and relieves customers of the costs associated with the travel and/or facility management associated with classroom training.

Standard Web-Based Training Courses

The first standard training course Polaris offers via the web is “Serious Adverse Event (SAE) Reporting for Dietary Supplements.” This GMP course focuses on the new regulations and procedures surrounding mandatory SAE reporting, including the details of completing MedWatch Form 3500A.

The web-based training student will be given step-by-step guidance on how to complete each section of the form using specific dietary supplement examples. This detailed information concerning the form and its instructions will not only benefit personnel in the Dietary Supplement industry, who are new to mandatory SAE reporting, but will also be useful to those in the Pharmaceutical, Biologics, and Medical Device industries.

This training course can be completed in approximately 75 minutes. Of course, each student is free to review the content for as long as it takes to absorb the material. At the end of the course, an assessment verifies that the student has understood the concepts contained in the training. An individualized Certificate of Completion will be electronically issued to students who score at least 8 out of 10 answers correctly.

Courses currently under development are Serious Adverse Event (SAE) Investigation and CGMP Final Rule 21 CFR Part 111 Compliance, both targeting the Dietary Supplement industry.
